Falls Prevention Awareness Week
September 23-27
According to the CDC, 30 million senior Americans fall each year. Falls are currently the leading cause of injuries among the elderly, and many of those injuries result in fatality.
Physical and Occupational Therapists provide preventive care for seniors to focus on falls prevention, joint health, and promote longevity through an active lifestyle.
